State Farm® Insurance Agent Jermaine Phillips

Although he was born in Austin, Texas, Jermaine has lived most of his life in Houston where his

State Farm office is located. Since 2009, he has been providing high-quality insurance services

to his fellow Houstonians and has also been recognized by State Farm by qualifying for

Chairman's Circle, Ambassador Club and SVP. Besides helping his community with their homeowner’s insurance; he provides people with car insurance, renters insurance, life insurance, and the many other insurance products that State Farm has to offer.

Prior to becoming a State Farm Agent, he played professional basketball overseas. His

basketball career has influenced his business philosophy, and some of his life's mottoes include

"Givers Gain," Win or Learn," and "Be Great, but Be grateful."

Jermaine received his Bachelor’s degree from St. Edwards University in Austin. After his

basketball career, he was inspired by another agent whom he saw helping many people and

contributing to his community. Following that example, Jermaine provides his customers with

excellent service in English and Spanish, and he plans an annual Christmas party that raises

money for a new charity each year.

When not at work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 children, going to church,
